The Glass Elevator in Graskop Gorge reaches one year

The glass elevator is the main attraction at Graskop Gorge Adventure Centre and costs in excess of R40 million to construct. It is also the first development of its kind in Africa. Visitors are transported into a pristine forest environment. An elevated forest walkway at the bottom of the gorge will have two suspension bridges that cross the river and include interpretation boards.

One year later this attraction has proven to be a major boost to the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga Province
